I’ve been busy redesigning 5doorsdown.com and updating my portfolio (still have much to do), so I haven’t had time to upload more of my images from my trip to Mexico. I assure you I have many more images to show you of my wonderful trip. Stay tuned for Patzcuaro and my visit to some of the Tarascan ruins nearby. Patzcuaro was one of my favorite stops in the journey so it deserves a detailed post. Right now I’m still quite busy with other projects.

Morelia is the capital of the state of Michoacan, Mexico. The heart of the city is its beautiful cathedral that sparkles with lights at night. I stayed in Morelia 3 nights within the Zona Historica, which is where all the wonderful colonial buildings and plazas are. I didn’t have the greatest time here. I think this has to do with the fact I don’t much care for large congested cities.

Sorry folks, I stopped blogging about my Mexico trip at San Miguel de Allende. I did indeed visit Morelia, Patzcuaro, Tzintzuntzan, Ihuatzio, and Guadalajara as well and will have some journal entries with images as soon as I prepare them. I didn’t get to the Monarch Butterfly sanctuary as it was closed. It opened the day after I left Mexico. I will hopefully be returning in a few months to see it though.
